My five-year-old son loves this movie. That's wonderful for both him and myself. Unfortunately, this is not one of those movies that appeals to adults. You will most likely find it hilarious or enjoyable if you are five (or close to five).
On a side note, I saw a handful of people gave this movie a seven. I worry about these individuals. How do you scale this stuff? This is why IMDB should be used with caution these days, as the streaming scores are poor.
Anyway, this is a film starring Woody Woodpecker and the woman you used to find attractive in 'Weeds'. Do you realize she's sixty now? Still looks fine.
The only reason I rated it so high is that I'm just glad to have another Woody Woodpecker movie.
The original one (2017) was a lot of fun to see, but this "sequel" was a huge letdown. It did not follow the original tale and did not include any of the original characters that I had hoped to see. Introduced far too many additional cartoon characters, and they can understand Woody?!? No one understood him in the first one (2017), but now everyone can?
This film had the potential to be fantastic, but it suffered from poor and sloppy production/directing. I really wish this was a proper sequel that continued the storyline from the previous film. This one (2024).
